The Kukuljević Sakcinski family is one of the oldest Croatian noble families that have held important positions in state, county, municipal and church services through history. This paper gives an overview of family members who have influenced the history of Ivanec and the cultural and economic development of the city and its surrounding area from the middle of the 19th century.
