Studia lexicographica is an interdisciplinary journal for lexicography and encyclopaedistics, published twice a year. It publishes scientific and professional papers from the humanities and social sciences that correspond to lexicography and encyclopaedistics, as a branch in the field of information and communication sciences. The basic direction of the journal is threefold: field of information and communication sciences as the basis of the organisation of knowledge and data with the emphasis on the contribution to lexicography and encyclopaedistics; theoretical contribution to lexicography and encyclopaedistics as the common activity of all scientific fields represented in lexicographical and encyclopaedic publications; documentational research, especially archival and bibliographical, in all fields of humanities and social sciences as the basis for lexicographic and encyclopaedic activity.
